The City of West Kelowna is hiring Election Officials for the 2026 General Local Election. As a condition of working for any local government election, pursuant to the Local Government Act, all Election Officials are required to make a solemn declaration that they will faithfully and impartially fulfill their duties. Election Officials must not be related to any candidate running for office in the election or actively working for any election campaign or candidate.

You must meet the following listed requirements for employment as an election official during the 2026 General Local Election in the City of West Kelowna. Select each statement to confirm they apply to you:

I am 18 years of age or older.

I am legally entitled to work in British Columbia.

I will be responsible for my own transportation to and from the polling station(s).

I am able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

I am able to remain onsite at the voting location, from the beginning of the shift until the end of the shift.

I am not related to any candidate running for office in the 2026 General Local Election.

I am not working for any election campaign or candidate running in this election.
